Really a nice pair of shoes. Comfortable. This shoe has a nice heel which make you more comfortable. Gives the slight feeling of leaning forward. Hardly noticeable though.
The Ecco Cairo Apron Toe Tie model is very similar from what I can tell... this just is a slip on version... this Brown is a gorgeous color. Had to buy a belt to go with it though cause it’s a slighter Brown... and because I’m OCD about that matching closely.
Hard to find this pair these days.
Paid 130USD Sept.2018... got the last pair in my size. Easy to get on and off. Not super tight on the top of the foot which is nice. In the past, slip on shoes in general were too tight on the top of my foot. Not these!
These have the light tan colored inside/sole which make them comfortable.
Ecco also makes some shoes with a cheaper darker black interior/sole that’s not leather it’s some sort of netting. They look the same. But they’re not.
Make sure to spend the money to get the tan leather inside version. You won’t be disappointed.
I’ve probably purchased over 15 pairs of Ecco shoes in my lifetime. They’re comfortable, I just wish their dress shoes lasted a little bit longer if used everyday like I do for work and wish (bottom sole) could be resoled.
These shoes are Made in China. In the past buying Eccos... different models than this one... Sometimes it said made in Portugal.

To be fair, I cannot tell a difference in quality or softness or anything...and I’ve looked very closely.
The size 43 Ecco size corresponds to other size 43 eccos I have purchased.
What’s weird is, the only exception to that is the Ecco Soft8, in the Soft 8 model, I wear a 42.
I wear a size 10 in a Brooks Running shoe to comparison.
Note: dress socks are work with dress shoes and athletic socks are worn with sneakers.
