This product is basic (not in a bad sense) because it only has 2 caps and it makes wine last longer for only a week. It could be a simple gift for someone who enjoys wine. I bought it for myself. I don't buy super expensive wine, so it works.I opened a bottle and let it sit for 6 days. It tasted pretty good after I reopened it.The pump is very easy to use. You will hear a click when the air is out. It doesn't leak even though I keep the bottles standing up. The pump size is small, so it doesn't take a lot of space either.Even though it's a rather simple gift, I feel the quality is good, and it does the job.I would recommend buying it as an alternative to the other expensive wine saving machines. You can also get additional caps, so more bottles can be opened at the same time.

It's absolutely handy, every wine lover should have one. And I can hear the clicks so clearly - but I don't think it's because I'm a musician. Anyway, I've kinda noticed the pattern till it clicks, so use this as a guideline: If you open a new bottle, pour one glass and cap it, it takes 4-5 pulls to hear the clicks. If your bottle is nearly empty, 10-12 pulls. Simple as that.

I also use the vacuum cap for my Aloe Vera juice, which I sip bit by bit everyday, to keep it fresh. Very useful.

This will not keep wine forever, but if you are going to have glass or two and want to save the taste for a few days before you pour again this is the right product. I tried other nock offs but they just don't do the job the same as the Vacu Vin
