Initial assessment is that they look decent, built moderately and should break in nicely. First time that I wish that I went up another 1/2 size in a long time - As I've already converted to a 1/2 size up about 5 years ago. I'm a true 10 who wears a 10 1/2 consistently - with these I needed an 11 for that luxury fit.
I ordered these shoes for my husband as a surprise and the surprise was on me because they did not fit. The shoe itself is nice but because it has the elastic on the sides, the shoe has a tighter fit. He tried walking in them, stretching them with a shoe horn but to no avail nothing worked. Still a very snug fit, so needless to say we them back. He has other Steve Madden shoes that are the slip on style and he loves those. Unfortunately this wasn't a good choice.
