These shoes are wonderful!!! I purchased these shoes during my Advanced Military Training (AIT) for Combat Medics. Very nice fit and very comfortable. These shoes got me through many mornings of PT and my PT test (246 PT score!!) :-) Even though that was three years ago, I still have them and they are still in pretty good condition. I love them and the color is beautiful. I recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a comfortable shoe to train in.

I read the other reviews and as I've found with the memory foam New Balance they tend to run slightly smaller than the regular New Balance. I'm a steady 9.5 and ALWAYS wear New Balance. They are in fact the only shoes I can buy and know they will fit without trying them on before purchase. That being said, the memory foam seem to run a little small (but exceptionally comfortable). I bought a size 10 (half size up) and they fit perfect, not too big or small. Highly recommend!!

Let me start off by saying I absolutely love the memory foam of these New Balances. The heel provides a ton of support while standing, bending, and lifting all day. Secondly, the color of these shoes are great! The hot pink against the black with the white trim looks sleek and stylish. I have wide and flat feet and the width of these shoes are perfect. However, lengthwise, they do run a bit small. I'm usually a 7 in sneakers, but a size 7 hit my toe box in an uncomfortable spot. I ordered these as an emergency replacement after my last sneakers gave out on me, which is why I kept the slightly uncomfortably 7s, otherwise I would have exchanged for a 7.5. I'd recommend going a half size up. Overall, great value for the price, and really comfortable heel and arch support.

I tried on several pairs of shoes in stores to get my size before I bought. For reference: I am a 6.5 on most days, wide toes and high arch. I have not owned real "athletic" shoes for years - I stick to mostly Vans slip-ons and Converse low-tops - and I am not using them for running (I needed a pair of athletic shoes to go walking in or working out). In the stores, New Balance fit me best in a 7.5 wide so I decided to aim for that. The Amazon shoe fit guide also suggested to go with a 7.5 wide.

The day I received the shoes I tried them on and after a long day, they fit great! The cushioning was pillowy and soft and I could tell I would be able to create my own arch support after breaking these shoes in. The next day I laced them up for running (no pun intended) all over downtown on errands. The soles, while adequately cushioned, are topped with a satin-like material and it caused my feet to slip up towards the front of the shoe and from side-to-side. I don't know if its the material sliding my foot around or the overall wideness of the shoe that's contributing to the slipperiness. I will experiment with different socks and/or insoles to see if they fix the problem. Perhaps the proportions of my small foot aren't their qualification of an overall "wide" foot. From other reviews I read, each style shoe runs narrower or wider.

Other than that, the blue and orange contrast is very eye appealing and the toebox is more than wide enough for my wide toes. Mesh keeps feet cool and dry, a nice contrast from most of the shoes I wear.

This is SPECIFICALLY labeled as a RUNNING SHOE. You can tell by my use of caps that I am annoyed! This has a non-removable "memory foam" sole that is covered in nylon that might as well be satin. What the hey? I run on a FLAT area, and I am STILL sliding all over inside this shoe, no matter how tight the laces (and really tight is very bad for your foot!). I generally do 7 miles, and I gave up after *2* miles today, having readjusted the laces 5 times and clocked a pace that was DOUBLE what it normally was. My foot is cramping from trying to hold on in these shoes.

Now, otherwise, the bloody things fit great. If I were someone who just had to stand around all day, these would probably be fine. So re-label them STANDING SHOES, and you're good.

Oh, and if it matters too you, the "red" on the black and red shoes is more of a salmon pink that glows.

I use this shoe as a walking shoe, not a running shoe. I wore them the first day for 8 hours and didn't experience any pinching, rubbing or blistering. They're really quite comfortable. Based on the previous reviews, I ordered a half size larger and I'm glad I did. I have a narrow foot and high arches so the arch support for me in any shoe is not sufficient. I don't feel this shoe has any less arch support than my Merrils or Sketchers. I didn't change the inside sole like other's have and don't feel the need to. The color is definitely a bright fluorescent salmon... just so you know.
I like the way this shoe looks on my foot and enjoy how comfortable it is to wear all day... again, walking, not running.

I really like the color. They are very cute. I went app to 7 1/2 bc people said they were tight from the memory foam inside. I am usually a seven and I went wide bc I usually need wide shoes and I guess the b or c meant even wider so I figured Id give them a try. They are a bit big but I think I'll keep them. I was told they look big on my feet but I don't care.
